Pet safety is our number one concern!
Pet Requirements
We do require proof of rabies vaccination and bordetella. Failure to provide proof will result in the groomer refusing services to your pet.
Groomers reserve the right to refuse service to any pets for any reason.
Aggression may result in the termination of the groom.
Our groomers will not groom pets that are in heat or pregnant.
Grooming of sick and elderly pets is entirely at the risk of the owner.
Owner Responsibility
Pet owners are urged to inform their groomers of any aggression issues. If there are aggression issues, the groomer may muzzle and/or use an e-collar. Your groomer reserves the right to charge an additional fee for aggression as they see fit. The client will be responsible for the cost of any damages or injury caused by an aggressive pet.
Dirty Pawz is not liable for any cuts, scratches, or irritations that happen during a matted shave down.
If fleas are found on a pet, the pet will be bathed in our flea and tick shampoo and charged an extra fee. The groomers reserve the right to send any pet home if we feel there are too many fleas or ticks.
Health and medical
Grooming can trigger or exacerbate medical conditions known, or sometimes unknown to the owner. If adverse symptoms or a restricting medical condition is noted, grooming will cease and these issues will be communicated in full. The owner of the pet in concern takes FULL responsibility and liability concerning medical issues that might arise during grooming.
No call no shows/Late fees
We run strictly on an appointment basis. We cannot take dogs more than 10 minutes late. Failure to be on time to your appointment will result in the cancellation of your appointment and a fee equal to your grooming appointment.
No call, no shows leave an empty slot on the groomers schedule that could have otherwise been utilized by another customer. Failure to cancel an appointment more than 24 business hours in advance will result in a fee equal to your grooming appointment.
We will keep a card on file and if you don't show up to your appointment without prior communication your card on file will be charged.
Pick Up
If the owner arrives before the pet is finished being groomed we do ask that you wait outside. Failure to do so can result in an unruly pet and the grooming may be terminated and the owner will be charged full price regardless of the state of the groom.
Due to limited kennel space dogs are expected to be picked up within 20 minutes of the time your groomer contacts you. Failure to pick your dog up in that allotted time will result in a charge of $10 for every 30 minutes past contact time.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of pick up. Our prices are non-negotiable.
We accept cash and card. We do not accept checks.
Satisfaction Guarantee
We strive to give every dog the best haircut we can. In order to achieve that we will need to have open communication between the owners and groomers. If for some reason you are not satisfied we will be more than happy to fix the groom. The best time to let us know is at pickup however, we do understand it may take a few hours for the hair to settle into its normal placement. In order to fix the haircut we will need to get the pet back in within 48 hours of its groom.
